Southern ItalianNeighbourhood: Awards/Reviews: North Beach This family owned and operated restaurant is small and cozy but with a homey feel. So I came here with my parents during their trip to the city. Bread reminded me of my trip to Italy, except that the bread wasn't hard as a rock like in the hotels in which we stayed. The spaghetti carbonara (my dad's favorite) was pretty tasty and "almost like the real one in Italy" according to my dad (but who knows, it's been a while and is his memory really that good?). My mom had the pasta with shrimp and chicken in aurora sauce (tomato and cream) and that was quite tasty as well. Cuisine:
